Once again, a stray dog…!!! A neighbor’s daughter (Pat Martinez – the Farber’s daughter) just dropped by to tell me that she had picked up a large, overweight elderly basset hound that she found wandering along Schoolhouse Rd. She had never met me, so we introduced, and exchanged tel. no.’s. She took the dog home and will call the dog warden. I’ll put a sign or two up so that passersby will know I have knowledge of the dog. But … probably a dropped off dog since it’s old and overweight. People don’t want to deal with it once it’s lost its appeal. I hate humans, if that’s the case.
Update:
Pat Martinez just called. She took the basset hound to the no-kill kennel in Saugerties. I will put up signs letting people know where she is.
